How To Get Your Medical Marijuana Card
The 1st step is to register through. Click on the following link and Apply Online:
Once you have fulfilled all the requirements by the state, they will issue you a 16-digit ID number.
Requirements to register:
Application fee of $50
Proof of Maryland address or treatment at a Maryland medical facility
Copy of valid US government-issued ID. Must be 18 years old
Provide an electronic copy of a clear photograph taken within the last (6) months
The 2nd step is the medical evaluation. You meet with a medical provider registered with MMCC to discuss your medical issues and what you wish to achieve with medical cannabis. You should provide the clinician with any medical documents to help with your evaluation.
The consultation is private and your health information is protected.
If you are certified by the medical provider you must renew every 12 months.
The 3rd step is to visit a dispensary. Maryland requires that you make your first purchase within 120 days from the date you were certified.
